ASRock is now providing Z370 chipset with DeskMini. It’s a mini PC that comes in a small form factor, which means it’s perfect for gamers who want to use their desktops as gaming PCs.

ASRock is now providing Z370 chipset with DeskMini. This new motherboard will be available soon and it will be compatible with Intel’s 8th generation processors.

ASRock has added a Z370 chipset motherboard to its DeskMini GTX/RX barebones PC, allowing it to handle the newest 8th Gen Coffee-Lake CPUs, which feature more cores and threads. The DeskMini GTX/RX barebone PC offers high-end specifications in a small package.

The DeskMini comes with a tiny aluminium and steel chassis that resembles a console, as well as a Micro-STX form factor board that is 2′′ larger than the Mini-STX board, giving it greater power and adding a few M. For high-end graphics cards, there are two slots plus a discrete MXM slot.

The board comes with either a GTX 1060 or a GTX 1080 graphics card in the front and three Ultra M.2 slots (PCI-E Gen3 x4) and an M.2 slot for wifi in the rear. There are two SATA 6Gb (5V power) connections on the rear, as well as M.2 slots, for storage. In the DeskMini, you may add two 2.5′′ SSD/HDD drives for storage.

The socket is LGA 1151, which enables CPUs with up to 6 cores and a TDP of 65 watts, as well as Dual Channel DDR4 memory with speeds up to 3200 MHz.

There are two USB ports on the front for connection, one of which is USB 3.1 and the other is USB 3.1 Type C. There are 4x USB 3.1 ports on the back panel and 2x USB 2.0 ports on the side panel. The DeskMini with GTX 1060 comes with a 220Watt AC adapter, while the one with GTX 1080 comes with a 270Watt AC adapter. The price hasn’t been disclosed yet, but it shouldn’t be too much more than the previous version DeskMini’s B250 chipset board. Otherwise, all of the specifications are the same.
